| New FFW website, with my artwork included! |
[May. 26th, 2008|09:14 am] |
Those who have been waiting to see my artwork for the FFW need wait no longer! The website has been updated with the full programme, and my artwork is there for all to see! :)
It looks OK on my monitor here at home, but I probably should have boosted the contrast a bit more. |

I'm glad you find it scary! :D
Yee! Very Christopher Lee.
But aaww, I feel especially sad at not being able to go now.
You're not going? Oh, bum!
The festival has now lost some of it's sparkle. :(
Well, I may pop over on the Sunday to see Dracula, but the whole weekender is definitely a no for me.
Ah well, it'll be nice if you can make it over for a wee bit. :)
Although I don't think I'll be seeing Dracula, so even if you do make it for that, I may miss you anyway! *sobs*
Ooooo. That looks awesome! Nice detail on the scary teeth.
Thanks! I'm hoping that even more toothy detail will be revealed when it's on the big screen! :D
Thanks! :)
Sorry for the long wait. It's kind of an anti-climax.
Indeed! Someone needs to get to a dentist, eh? LOL
I like the vampire, he looks all Hammer Film Poster, but the Hitchhikers look kind of PASTEDE ON YAY!
[/obligatory bitching]
Yeah, they do look a bit pasted on.
I originally just wanted the face emerging out of the darkness, but he wanted something specific to American Werewolf. I think it works OK though, and I'm hoping it looks more like a painting when it's bigger. All my scruffy brush-strokes get lost when it's reduced in size! :(
I think that's my issue with it - the vampire looks like a painting, which is cool, but the hitchhikers are clearly photographic. They should be painty too!
Yup. I wanted it to have quite a lot of fine detail so it'll (hopefully) look good on posters and when projected up on the screen, but I didn't really consider how much the paintiness would get lost when it's reduced in size.
Ah well, another learning experience! :) | |
