Bio
I'm a 43 year-old Scotsman, happily shacked up with my partner, El. We've been together now for 20 years, so there must be SOMETHING about me she likes.

Jobwise, I am a "Graphic Artist" by day, and a freelance illustrator by night. My day-job invloves illustrating and designing information materials for people with learning disabilities, and my night-job involves illustrating horrific and nasty monsters. I'm kind of like the illustration equivalent of Jekyll & Hyde.

For fun I mainly like to watch films and old telly programmes. Mostly horror and sci-fi, but I'll watch pretty much anything except musicals. They are the work of Beelzebub. I also read voraciously, usually having two books on the go at a time, possibly with a comic on the side. People call them "graphic novels" these days, but they'll always be comics to me. I also enjoy listening to strange and wonderful and deeply unhip music.

But I don't spend all my time sitting on my arse! I like to get out into the lovely Scottish countryside whenever possible and wander about. I also enjoy consuming alcohol, particularly a nice single malt whisky, preferrably from Islay.

Erm. Can't think of anything else really. You'll just have to find out the rest for yourself...
